For a suspected directory error, use the subject “Data correction” and include the CNAPS code, branch name, the specific issue, and a public source that supports the correction. Do not send account numbers, transfer receipts, passwords, or other sensitive payment information.
Privacy requests
For access, deletion, objection, or another privacy request, use the subject “Privacy request” and explain which interaction with this site is concerned. We may ask for limited information needed to locate and safely process the request.
General questions
For other questions about the site, use the subject “General inquiry.” CNAPS Code Finder cannot trace payments, reverse transfers, confirm account ownership, or provide customer service on behalf of a bank.
Response and safety
Messages are reviewed as resources allow. Contact the sending or receiving bank immediately for urgent payment matters, fraud concerns, or a transfer already in progress.
